During July and August, Greencare Clinics is supporting the Klim Foundation through a donation initiative linked to new patient initial telehealth consultations.
As part of this initiative, Greencare will donate 100% of the consultation fee ($59) from eligible new patient initial consultations booked during this period to the Klim Foundation. This initiative is intended to support the foundation’s work and raise awareness of Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).
CIDP is a rare neurological condition that affects the body’s nerve fibres, which can impact strength and sensation, particularly in the arms and legs. Awareness of CIDP remains limited, and ongoing education and support play an important role for individuals, families, and healthcare professionals navigating the condition.
About the Initiative
This initiative is organised by Greencare Clinics as part of a broader commitment to community awareness and support.
The Klim Foundation focuses on education, advocacy, and community support for individuals and families affected by CIDP.
The Story Behind It
The foundation was established by Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, who has spoken publicly about his experience living with CIDP. Through the foundation, the aim is to increase awareness and provide support for others navigating the condition across Australia.
