Book Your Telehealth Appointment in 3 Simple Steps

Last Updated on March 2, 2026 by Maite

Telehealth is a convenient way to speak with a qualified practitioner from home. This blog highlights the three steps involved in making a telehealth booking with Greencare Clinics, so you know what to expect and can get started with confidence.

Telehealth is a convenient way to explore alternative approaches to traditional care, especially for people who want privacy and flexibility while speaking with a qualified practitioner from home. If you’ve never had a telehealth consultation before, the process is designed to be straightforward and supportive.

Step 1: Book Your Appointment Online

Booking your telehealth consultation only takes a few minutes. You can choose a time that suits your schedule, complete your details, make payment and finalise the booking through the online system. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation SMS and instructions to help you prepare for your consultation.

Step 2: Submit Your Health Summary Before Your Consultation

Before your appointment, you may be asked to provide a recent health summary from your usual GP. This assists the practitioner in understanding your general medical history, current medications and helps ensure your telehealth consultation is informed and appropriate.

You may also wish to:

  • Write down any questions you would like to discuss
  • Gather relevant medical information, including symptoms
  • Choose a quiet and private space for your call

Greencare telehealth consultations are conducted via phone appointment.

Step 3: Speak With a Qualified Practitioner

At your scheduled appointment time, you will speak with a Greencare Doctor or Nurse Practitioner. During the consultation, you can discuss your general health and wellbeing, and the practitioner will assess your individual circumstances.

If clinically appropriate, the practitioner may discuss suitable next steps. Recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis and may not be appropriate for everyone.

Telehealth and Ongoing Care

Telehealth provides a convenient way to book and manage ongoing follow-up appointments when required. Our patient care team are always available for you to speak to over the phone if you have any questions or concerns.

If you would like to learn more about exploring alternative healthcare via telehealth, you can book an appointment online. A qualified practitioner will assess your suitability during your consultation.
