Prescription Fulfillment

Greencare prefers to send prescriptions to a pharmacy that we have ongoing communications with; as they will ensure that intervals and access levels are managed in accordance with the prescribing practitioner.

At Greencare, we will send your prescription to a pharmacy based on your location for convenience. The pharmacies knowledge of alternative therapies, their competency and ability to support our patients to the highest standard is of utmost importance to us.

The pharmacies we recommend, will offer you:

At Greencare, your choice of pharmacy is entirely up to you. However, we recommend selecting a pharmacy that offers:

*It is at your discretion which pharmacy you would like your prescription sent to, however, we highly recommend you select a pharmacy in our network to ensure you have a streamlined and positive experience. 
We do not provide copies of TGA approvals directly to patients as the personal details of the prescriber can be on such documentation; as such we will only share approvals with the dispensing pharmacy.

We do not provide copies of regulatory approvals directly to patients, as they may contain personal details of the prescriber. Instead, we share these approvals directly with the dispensing pharmacy for your privacy and security.

Greencare will handle the communication with your chosen pharmacy, ensuring that prescriptions and approvals are sent securely. We also work closely with the pharmacy to make sure they follow the required intervals and access levels specified in your prescription.

Alternatively, for added convenience, we can select a pharmacy for you based on your location. We can direct you to a pharmacy that will support all of the above noted offerings. They will also be highly knowledgeable in alternative therapies and will be equipped to provide a high standard of care.

This fee includes but is not limited to:

Our administrative time.

Updating your patient file.

Compiling relevant documentation from various sources to be transferred.

Transferring escripts across.

Sometimes this will require that the escript be cancelled at the original pharmacy and reissued which requires input from your practitioner.

Transfering TGA documentation.

Creating a shared drive linking your pharmacy and the practitioner.

Your pharmacy will need to:

Set up accounts with various cannabis pharmaceutical companies for ordering.

Be contactable via phone and email.

Please note, we can only support a change of pharmacy if the pharmacy you're requesting is based in either NSW, VIC or QLD.
