Prescription Fulfilment

At Greencare, our priority is to provide supportive care for every patient. While you are always free to nominate any pharmacy for dispensing, we have established secure communication channels and processes with several experienced pharmacies along the east coast of Australia.

Simple, transparent pricing – with coordinated care

We will always provide you with a copy of your prescription if you ask us. However, we cannot guarantee that the pharmacy that you take your prescription to will have your medication available.

If you or your pharmacy require that we provide a copy of your Health Information, we will charge you an administration fee of $69 in accordance with section 27(4) of the Health Records and Information Privacy Act (the Act).

This fee is to cover our costs of collating and where necessary redacting any third party Personal Information (like your doctors address) from your Health Information.

We will send your Health Information to you or your nominated pharmacy within 7 days of payment of the administration fee in accordance with the requirements of the Act.

These arrangements help ensure your prescription is managed securely and efficiently, while also providing timely dispensing, guidance, and ongoing support as part of your care.

Health Information Transfers

If you wish to transfer your Health Information to your chosen pharmacy, a $69 transfer fee applies. This fee covers:

Redaction of third party personal and prescribing data
Secure set up of your chosen pharmacy in the shared approval portal to provide access to practitioner credentials and approvals
Sharing and confirming approvals with your chosen pharmacy
Administrative processing and coordination
Our admin team will make the appropriate introductions between your chosen pharmacy and practitioner

Please note: Each time you require your health information to be redacted as part of a transfer, the fee will apply.

Your prescription belongs to you. However, regulatory approvals and practitioner credentials contain confidential practitioner information (such as personal contact details). For this reason, we do not provide approvals directly to patients. Instead, these documents are shared securely with your chosen dispensing pharmacy. This process ensures both practitioner safety and the integrity of your treatment.

Complete Your Health Information Transfer

Once the transfer is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation text message from our team.

Important: To begin a transfer, the Health Information Transfer Form must be completed and the $69 transfer fee paid at the time of request.
